Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Chattanooga, TN), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Hamilton for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 2. Signal Mountain will battle a Hurricanes squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to North Jackson (Stevenson, AL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 13-5.
