Ohio High School Softball - Salem nudges United
April 2, 2022: Salem, OH 44460 Salem Quakers (Salem, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting United Golden Eagles (Hanoverton, OH), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Quakers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Marlington for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5. Salem will face a Dukes squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Norton (Norton, OH). The Dukes record now stands at 2-0.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the David Anderson Blue Devils (Lisbon, OH) in a Eastern Ohio Athletic game, on Tuesday, April 5. United will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 16-0 league win over East Palestine (East Palestine, OH).
