April 2, 2022: Wethersfield, CT 06109 The Wethersfield Eagles softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Suffield Wildcats to 1 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Wethersfield moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Windsor (Windsor, CT) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Monday, April 4. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 0-1. Windsor lost 7-6 in their recent non-league game against Manchester (Manchester, CT)
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) in a North Central Connecticut game, on Tuesday, April 5. Suffield will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT).
