April 2, 2022: Ashville, OH 43103 Teays Valley Vikings (Ashville, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Walsh Jesuit Warriors (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Amanda-Clearcreek for a Mid-State - Buckeye challenge on Monday, April 4. Teays Valley will face a Aces squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Liberty Union (Baltimore, OH). The Aces record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Walsh Jesuit falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH) to face the Lions in a North Coast challenge on Monday, April 4. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin won 12-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Mentor (Mentor, OH)
