Maryland High School Lacrosse - Paint Branch overwhelms Wheaton
April 2, 2024: Silver Spring, MD 20906 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD) and the host Wheaton Knights (Silver Spring, MD), saw Paint Branch's lacrosse team achieve victory over Wheaton by a margin of 8-4.
The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Einstein (Kensington, MD). The Titans enter the Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Einstein edged Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD), 10-9, in a league challenge.
The Knights (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD). The Blue Devils enter the Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Springbrook was overwhelmed by Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD), 14-6, in a league challenge.
