Illinois High School Softball - Rochester bounces Lincoln
April 2, 2024: Lincoln, IL 62656 Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL), 11-1 in a league challenge.
The Rockets now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Decatur Eisenhower for a Central State Eight challenge on Wednesday, April 3. Rochester will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 19-0 non-league loss to LeRoy (LeRoy, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Lincoln falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Railsplitters travel to Springfield (Springfield, IL) to battle the Senators in a Central State Eight challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Senators enter the challenge with a record of 7-2. Springfield won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL)
