Kentucky High School Baseball - Batavia loses to Ballard
April 2, 2025: Louisville, KY 40222 Ballard Bruins (Louisville, KY) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL), 12-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Ballard advances its record to 11-0 on the season. The Bruins host Rowan County (Morehead, KY) to battle the Vikings in a non-league match on Thursday, April 3. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 9-2. Rowan County won 8-2 in their recent non-league match against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA)
The Bulldogs now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knox Central for a non-league match on Thursday, April 3. Batavia will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 1-6.
