With the triumph, Newman moves its record to 11-11 on the season. The Greenies travel to Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 2. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 17-7. Ascension Catholic won 19-3 in their recent league contest against White Castle (White Castle, LA)
The Warriors now possess a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Ehret for a 5A District 10 contest on Friday, April 4. East Jefferson will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 8-22.
