The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) and the host West Forsyth Titans (Clemmons, NC), saw Grimsley's baseball team gain a win over West Forsyth by a tally of 5-3.

The Whirlies (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys enter the Metro 4A battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Southwest Guilford by East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC), 13-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Titans face the Glenn Bobcats (Kernersville, NC) in a Central Piedmont 4A battle, on Friday, April 4. West Forsyth will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 7-7 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC).
