Tennessee High School Baseball - Jefferson County holds off Pikeville
April 2, 2025: Dandridge, TN 37725 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Jefferson County Patriots (Dandridge, TN) and the visiting Pikeville Panthers (Pikeville, KY), saw Jefferson County's baseball team beat Pikeville by a margin of 6-2.
The Patriots (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Science Hill (Johnson City, TN). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Science Hill held off Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Panthers face the Oak Ridge Wildcats (Oak Ridge, TN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 3. Pikeville will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 16-3 record after their 24-0 league win over Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN).
