The Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI) lacrosse routed the visiting Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), 14-9 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Patriots now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host La Salle Academy for a Division 1 outing on Friday, April 4. Portsmouth will face a Rams squad coming off a 16-10 non-league win over Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, MA). The Rams record now stands at 2-0.
