Virginia High School Lacrosse - West Springfield can't hold off Washington-Liberty
April 2, 2025: Arlington, VA 22201 Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the visiting West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), 6-5 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Washington-Liberty advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Generals host George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA) to play the Statesmen in a non-league game on Thursday, April 3. The Statesmen come into the game with a record of 2-1. George C. Marshall lost 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Edison (Alexandria, VA)
The Spartans now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodson for a non-league game on Thursday, April 3. West Springfield will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Robinson (Fairfax, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-2.
