April 2, 2025: Galax, VA 24333 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Galax Maroon Tide soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 win over the Abingdon Falcons.
The Maroon Tide (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers enter the Mountain Empire outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Fort Chiswell tipped Grayson County (Independence, VA), 6-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Falcons confront the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 7. Abingdon will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Cavaliers enter the outing with a 2-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, VA).
