New Jersey High School Softball - New Milford bounces Butler
April 2, 2025: Butler, NJ 07419 The New Milford Knights softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Butler Bulldogs to 2 in the Knights non-league win on Wednesday.
The Knights now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgefield Memorial for a non-league battle on Friday, April 4. New Milford will confront a Royals team coming off a 19-6 non-league loss to Becton (East Rutherford, NJ). The Royals record now stands at 0-2.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Eastern Christian Eagles (North Haledon, NJ) in a NJIC - Colonial bout, on Friday, April 4. Butler will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Mary Help of Christians Academy (North Haledon, NJ).
