Maryland High School Softball - Chopticon bounces Calvert
April 2, 2025: Morganza, MD 20660 The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) and the visiting Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD), observed Chopticon's softball team notch a victory over Calvert by a final score of 13-0.
The Braves (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Panthers go into the Southern Maryland bout with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, Patuxent was routed by North Point (Waldorf, MD), 7-5, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) in a Southern Maryland bout, on Friday, April 4. Calvert will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 13-3 league win over McDonough (Pomfret, MD).
