Virginia High School Softball - Orange County bounces William Monroe
April 2, 2025: Stanardsville, VA 22973 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets softball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the William Monroe Dragons.
The Fighting Hornets (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Lions come into the Jefferson match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Louisa County notched a victory over Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA), 7-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 4. William Monroe will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record.
