The South Point Pointers softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Piketon Redstreaks to 1 in the Pointers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Pointers now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 3. South Point will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Clay (Portsmouth, OH). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Piketon moves to 5-1 on the season. The Redstreaks travel to Northwest (McDermott, OH) to confront the Mohawks in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 3. The Mohawks come into the battle with a record of 3-2. Northwest lost 6-3 in their recent league battle against Symmes Valley (Willow Wood, OH)
