In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Massac County Patriots baseball squad scored a tight 5-4 triumph over the Benton Rangers.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Murphysboro Red Devils (Murphysboro, IL) in a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Ohio outing, on Monday, April 6.
