In Thursday's non-league game, the host Montgomery Aztecs baseball team scored a close 7-0 triumph over the Scripps Ranch Falcons.

With the triumph, Montgomery advances its record to 7-7 on the season. The Aztecs host Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 7. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 4-10. Steele Canyon won 16-4 in their recent non-league match against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA)

The Falcons now have a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maranatha Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 7. Scripps Ranch will play a Eagles team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-6.
