In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Forsyth Home Educators Hawks softball team scored a tight 6-4 win over the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles.

The Hawks (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association (Concord, NC). The Stallions enter the non-league game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association edged Ambassador Christian School (Huntersville, NC), 2-1, in a non-league game.

The Eagles now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Jordan-Matthews for a Four Rivers 3A/4A game on Tuesday, April 14.
