In Thursday's league match, the visiting Lavaca Golden Arrows softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Lamar Warriors.

The Golden Arrows (11-0) will now prepare for their match against Booneville (Booneville, AR). The Bearcats come into the 3A Region 4 match with a 7-4 record. In their last match, Booneville nipped Cossatot River (Cove, AR), 20-5, in a league match.
