April 20, 2022: Cupertino, CA 95014 Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cupertino upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA) to battle the Bruins in a De Anza test on Wednesday, April 27. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 14-9. Santa Clara won 9-2 in their recent league test against Los Altos (Los Altos, CA)
With the defeat, Piedmont Hills falls to 6-15 on the season. The Pirates travel to Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA) to battle the Cougars in a Santa Teresa test on Tuesday, April 26. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 14-4. Evergreen Valley won 11-0 in their recent league test against Del Mar (San Jose, CA)
