North Carolina High School Soccer - Ashley knocks off Coastal Christian
April 20, 2022: Wilmington, NC 28409 Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Coastal Christian Centurions (Wilmington, NC), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Screaming Eagle confront the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A challenge, on Friday, April 22. Ashley will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 9-0 league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC).
The Centurions now possess a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host DASH for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21. Coastal Christian will confront a United team coming off a 4-0 league win over Southeastern HomeSchool (Wilmington, NC). The United record now stands at 14-2.
