Virginia High School Soccer - George C. Marshall nudges Woodson
April 20, 2022: Fairfax, VA 22031 George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Statesmen confront the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) in a Liberty challenge, on Monday, April 25. George C. Marshall will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Saxons enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Justice (Falls Church, VA).
The Cavaliers now possess a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host South County for a Patriot challenge on Monday, April 25. Woodson will confront a Stallions team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Dominion (Sterling, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 8-0.
