April 20, 2022: Ashburn, VA The crowd at Wednesday's non-league game between the Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) and the host Independence (Ashburn, VA), saw Freedom's lacrosse team achieve victory over Independence by a final score of 9-3.
With the win, Freedom betters its record to 7-3 on the season. The Eagles host Patriot (Nokesville, VA) to play the Pioneers in a Cedar Run match on Thursday, April 21. With the defeat, Independence drops to 2-3 on the season. The travel to Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA) to play the Falcons in a Potomac match on Friday, April 22. The Falcons go into the match with a record of 6-2. Briar Woods won 20-0 in their recent non-league match against Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA)
