Connecticut High School Softball - Wilcox RVT bounces Cheney RVT
April 20, 2022: Manchester, CT 06040 Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Wilcox RVT Indians (Meriden, CT) and the host Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT), witnessed Wilcox RVT's softball squad prevail over Cheney RVT by a count of 17-4.
The Indians now sport a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Goodwin Tech for a Connecticut Tech match on Friday, April 22. Wilcox RVT will face a Gladiators squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT). The Gladiators record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Cheney RVT moves to 0-3 on the season. The Beavers travel to Grasso Tech (Groton, CT) to face the Eagles in a Connecticut Tech match on Wednesday, April 27. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 0-5. Grasso Tech lost 19-9 in their recent league match against Windham RVT (Willimantic, CT)
