Massachusetts High School Softball - Smith Academy nudges Chicopee Comp
April 20, 2022: Chicopee, MA 01020 Smith Academy Falcons (Hatfield, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Chicopee Comp Colts (Chicopee, MA), 12-11 in a non-league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mahar Regional for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 25. Smith Academy will battle a Senators squad coming off a 22-2 league loss to Mohawk Trail Regional (Buckland, MA). The Senators record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Chicopee Comp falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Colts travel to West Springfield (West Springfield, MA) to battle the Terriers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 22. The Terriers enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. West Springfield lost 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Agawam (Agawam, MA)
