April 20, 2022: Walpole, MA 02081 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Walpole Rebels (Walpole, MA) and the visiting Franklin Panthers (Franklin, MA), witnessed Walpole's softball squad tip Franklin by a count of 6-3.
The Rebels now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Abington for a non-league match on Friday, April 22. Walpole will face a Green Wave squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Norton (Norton, MA). The Green Wave record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Franklin moves to 3-3 on the season. The Panthers host Mansfield (Mansfield, MA) to face the Hornets in a Hockomock - Kelly - Rex match on Friday, April 22. The Hornets go into the match with a record of 1-3. Mansfield won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA)
