Connecticut High School Softball - Tolland bounces Lewis Mills
April 20, 2022: Tolland, CT 06084 Tolland Eagles (Tolland, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lewis Mills Spartans (Burlington, CT), 15-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host East Hartford for a Central Connecticut - East challenge on Monday, April 25. Tolland will face a Hornets squad coming off a 20-1 non-league loss to Maloney (Meriden, CT). The Hornets record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Lewis Mills falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Spartans host Berlin (Berlin, CT) to face the Redcoats in a Central Connecticut - South challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Redcoats enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Berlin won 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against South Windsor (South Windsor, CT)
