April 20, 2023: Albany, NY 12205 Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Albany, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Amsterdam Rams (Amsterdam, NY), 24-3 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Christian Brothers Academy moves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Brothers travel to Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY) to play the Flying Dutchmen in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue battle on Friday, April 21. The Flying Dutchmen enter the battle with a record of 3-5. Guilderland won 6-4 in their recent league battle against Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY)
The Rams now possess a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnstown for a Section 2 Foothills battle on Monday, April 24. Amsterdam will play a Sir Bills squad coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Fort Plain (Fort Plain, NY). The Sir Bills record now stands at 5-4.
