The Blackhawk Cougars crushed the visiting North Catholic Trojans baseball team by a count of 14-3 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montour for a WPIAL 4A 1 bout on Monday, April 24. Blackhawk will face a Spartans team coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Hampton (Allison Park, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 12-1.

Next, the Trojans face the Indiana Little Indians (Indiana, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 1 bout, on Monday, April 24. North Catholic will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Little Indians enter the bout with a 8-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA).
