Missouri High School Baseball - Lamar loses to Monett
April 20, 2023: Lamar, MO 64759 In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Monett Cubs baseball team scored a nice 12-1 victory over the Lamar Tigers.
The Cubs (9-4) will now prepare for their game against Aurora (Aurora, MO). The Houn Dawgs go into the Class 4 District 11 game with a 2-10 record. In their last game, Aurora was overwhelmed by Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO), 12-1, in a league game.
The Tigers (6-7) will now prepare for their game against El Dorado Springs (El Dorado Springs, MO). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 4-9 record. In their last game, El Dorado Springs ran past Buffalo (Buffalo, MO), 9-4, in a non-league game.
