New Mexico High School Baseball - St. Pius X loses to La Cueva
April 20, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87120 The La Cueva Bears crushed the host St. Pius X Sartans baseball team by a tally of 20-3 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bears now hold a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they host Farmington for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 22. La Cueva will face a Scorpions team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Scorpions record now stands at 14-8.
Next, the Sartans face the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 21. St. Pius X will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Jaguars enter the bout with a 6-9 record after their 12-9 league win over Grants (Grants, NM).
