In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Independence Blue Devils softball team scored a close 8-3 win over the Berkshire Badgers.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils battle the Lake Center Christian Tiger (Hartville, OH) in a non-league outing, on Friday, April 21. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Tiger enter the outing with a 7-5 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Woodridge (Peninsula, OH).
