New York High School Softball - Christian Brothers Academy bounces Mexico
April 20, 2023: Mexico, NY 13114 Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Syracuse, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Mexico Tigers (Mexico, NY), 7-1 in a league challenge.
The Brothers now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chittenango for a Section 3 Liberty challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Christian Brothers Academy will battle a Bears squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY). The Bears record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Mexico falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Pulaski (Pulaski, NY) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Pulaski lost 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against South Jefferson (Adams, NY)
