April 20, 2023: Hartford, CT 06106 Windham RVT Mighty Tigers (Willimantic, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad smash the host Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy Phoenix (Hartford, CT), 36-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Mighty Tigers now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Grasso Tech for a Connecticut Tech challenge on Friday, April 21. Windham RVT will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 20-16 league win over Cheney RVT (Manchester, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Phoenix host Weaver (Hartford, CT) to battle the Beavers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 26. The Beavers enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
