Westborough Rangers (Westborough, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Nipmuc Regional Warriors (Upton, MA), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Rangers now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leominster for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 26.

With the loss, Nipmuc Regional falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host Notre Dame Academy (Worcester, MA) to face the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 5-1.
