Maryland High School Baseball - Long Reach loses to Chesapeake
April 20, 2024: Pasadena, MD 21122 In Saturday's non-league game, the host Chesapeake Cougars baseball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the Long Reach Lightning.
The Cougars (8-5) will now prepare for their game against North County (Glen Burnie, MD). The Knights go into the Anne Arundel County match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, North County was overwhelmed by Arundel (Gambrills, MD), 11-7, in a league match.
The Lightning (5-4) will now prepare for their match against River Hill (Clarksville, MD). The Hawks go into the Howard County match with a 8-4 record. In their last match, River Hill edged Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD), 10-7, in a league match.
