The Decatur Central Hawks softball team scored 25 runs and held the host Connersville Spartans to 3 in the Hawks non-league win on Saturday.

The Hawks now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beech Grove for a non-league battle on Monday, April 22. Decatur Central will confront a Hornets team coming off a 18-17 non-league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, IN). The Hornets record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Connersville moves to 2-3 on the season. The Spartans host Franklin County (Brookville, IN) to confront the Wildcats in a battle on Monday, April 22. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
