Illinois High School Softball - Nazareth Academy topped by Lyons
April 20, 2024: LaGrange, IL 60525 The Lyons Lions softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Nazareth Academy Roadrunners to 1 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Lyons moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL) to play the Huskies in a non-league game on Monday, April 22. The Huskies come into the game with a record of 1-1.
In their next game, the Roadrunners play the Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 24. Nazareth Academy will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The RedHawks enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 16-5 non-league win over Whitney Young (Chicago, IL).
