With the win, Pomperaug upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Bethel (Bethel, CT) to battle the Wildcats in a South West outing on Thursday, April 25. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 6-2.
With the defeat, Watertown drops to 3-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 23.
