Alabama High School Softball - Liberty Creek bounces Brookwood
April 20, 2024: Brookwood, AL 35444 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Liberty Creek Wolves (Gallatin, TN) and the host Brookwood Panthers (Brookwood, AL), saw Liberty Creek's softball squad nip Brookwood by a count of 4-0.
The Wolves now sport a 17-7 record. They take the field next when they host Westmoreland for a 2A District 6 match on Wednesday, April 24. Liberty Creek will face a Eagles squad coming off a 20-5 non-league loss to Gallatin (Gallatin, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 1-12.
With the loss, Brookwood falls to 14-17 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Northside (Northport, AL) to face the Rams in a non-league match on Monday, April 22. The Rams enter the match with a record of 32-16. Northside won 3-1 in their recent league match against Oak Grove (Bessemer, AL)
