Ohio High School Softball - Western Brown nudges Central Crossing
April 20, 2024: Mt. Orab, OH 45154 Western Brown Broncos (Mt. Orab, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Broncos now own a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. Francis DeSales for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. Western Brown will face a Stallions squad coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Westerville South (Westerville, OH). The Stallions record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Central Crossing falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH) to face the Scotties in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. The Scotties enter the challenge with a record of 11-2. Tri-Valley won 5-1 in their recent league challenge against New Lexington (New Lexington, OH)
