Illinois High School Softball - Princeton bounces Fieldcrest
April 20, 2024: Minonk, IL 61760 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL) and the host Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL), observed Princeton's softball team notch a victory over Fieldcrest by a tally of 14-5.
The Tigers (10-5) will now prepare for their bout against Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL). The Storm go into the Three Rivers East bout with a 10-3 record. In their last bout, Bureau Valley gained a win over Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL), 3-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 20. Fieldcrest will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a 15-1 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Streator (Streator, IL).
