Minnesota High School Softball - Lourdes bounces Willmar
April 20, 2024: Rochester, MN 55902 The Lourdes Eagles softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Willmar Cardinals to 2 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander for a non-league battle on Monday, April 22. Lourdes will confront a Superlarks team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN). The Superlarks record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Willmar moves to 0-7 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Rocori (Cold Spring, MN) to confront the Spartans in a Central Lakes battle on Tuesday, April 23. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 3-1. Rocori won 10-0 in their recent non-league battle against St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN)
