April 20, 2024: Ridgewood, NJ 07450 The Ridgewood Maroons routed the visiting Newton Braves softball squad by a final score of 8-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Maroons (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ). The Comets go into the Big North - Freedom battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Hackensack nudged West Orange (West Orange, NJ), 4-3, in a non-league battle.
The Braves now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Morris Hills for a non-league battle on Monday, April 22. Newton will meet a Knights squad coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 1-6.
