New York High School Softball - South Jefferson topped by Wellsville
April 20, 2024: Adams, NY 13605 Wellsville Lions (Wellsville, NY) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY), 11-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Wellsville upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Lions host Attica (Attica, NY) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 23. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 1-0.
The Spartans now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Watertown for a non-league game on Monday, April 29. South Jefferson will play a Cyclones squad coming off a 14-6 league loss to Lowville (Lowville, NY). The Cyclones record now stands at 3-3.
