The Freedom Patriots triumphed over the host Stroudsburg Mountaineers baseball squad by a score of 22-7 in Monday's league outing.

Next up, the Patriots encounter the Nazareth Area Blue Eagles (Nazareth, PA) in a Eastern Penn - Steel outing, on Wednesday, April 22. Freedom will attempt to advance on its 8-6 season record. The Blue Eagles enter the outing with a 10-4 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Pocono Mountain West (Pocono Summit, PA).

The Mountaineers (4-9) will now prepare for their outing against Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA). The Cardinals enter the Eastern Penn - Mountain outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Pocono Mountain East was overwhelmed by Northampton (Northampton, PA), 14-1, in a league outing.
