The Burlington Cougars crushed the host Calhan Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 20-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peyton for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 23. Burlington will face a Panthers team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Swink (Swink, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 10-1.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Colorado Springs Christian Lions (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 27. Calhan will attempt to move on its 3-13 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 5-7 record after their 11-1 league loss to Manitou Springs (Manitou Springs, CO).
