April 21, 2022: Van Nuys, CA 91402 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Valor Academy (Van Nuys, CA) and the visiting Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers (Sun Valley, CA), saw Valor Academy's volleyball squad beat Sun Valley Magnet by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Valor Academy upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The travel to Lake Balboa College Prep (Lake Balboa, CA) to play the Cougars in a Central Valley bout on Friday, April 22. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 14-16. Lake Balboa College Prep won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA)
The Pioneers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sherman Oaks CES for a non-league bout on Monday, April 25. Sun Valley Magnet will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA). The Knights record now stands at 0-13.
